Gino Ravaioli - Senior Payment Advisor - Chairperson of the DCC Forum

Gino joined Global Blue in Italy in June 1998. At that time he started as Finance Manager of the Italian subsidiary. In 2006 he took the responsibility of Product Currency Choice joining the Group Management Team working on developing the Currency Choice business worldwide. Since 2015 he has been responsible of developing the company's new products and strategic business partnerships. Gino left Global Blue in April 2016 to start an independent consultancy activity in the payment area.

Desmond Acosta - Euronet

Desmond joined Euronet as legal counsel in 2002. Desmond is responsible for providing legal and regulatory advice to Euronet's various payments businesses around the world. He is also a Director of Euronet 360 Finance Limited, the Euronet group company responsible for the card issuing and acquiring business across the EEA. Prior to joining Euronet, Desmond worked as an M&A lawyer in the US and in Europe.

Damian Cecchi - SVP Payments & DCC at Global Blue

Damian's experience and role incorporates the product, development and sale of outsourced financial processing solutions to Financial Institutions as well as broad experience in the establishment of new payment ventures globally. He has broad experience in the payments arena, working for vendors and merchant acquirers before establishing the Travelex DCC business globally which was sold to Global Blue in 2016. Today he is the SVP of Global Blue's Payments and DCC business and has the responsibility of driving the payments strategy of the Global Blue Group.

Alan Graham - General Manager (Europe) Fexco Merchant Services

Alan joined Fexco in 2015 having spent the earlier part of his career in sales and marketing leadership positions with a number of blue chip companies including the British retailer Tesco and the Irish manufacturer, Kingspan. He garnered extensive knowledge of the European payments industry during a 7-year career with the Payzone Group. As GM Europe for FEXCO Merchant Services, Alan works with a highly experienced team to drive brand and revenue growth across Europe from our multi-product payments environment. Alan holds a B.Comm from University College Dublin along with a Masters from their Graduate School of Business.

Helen Grogan - Elavon

Helen joined the Product and Innovation team in Elavon in June 2018 and brings over 8 years of experience working in DCC. Helen has significant background in the Hospitality sector and working with Pan European accounts, including training, sales and strategy. Helen supports the DCC product management and is responsible for a team which delivers DCC and Value Added Services (VAS) training to customers across the EU.

Jo Lalor - Business Development Director at Monex

Educated at Dublin Institute of Technology, Jo has worked with Monex Financial Services since 2000, firstly joining the company in the role of Financial Controller. As Monex continued its global growth, Jo undertook the position of Business Development Director in 2006 and continues in this role today directing activities of the Sales and Marketing teams at HQ Ireland and Monex seven international training and support centres.

Joel Mayer - SVP Corporate Development at Planet

Joel was one of the founders of Planet, joining the Company in 2000. Joel currently maintains product responsibility for Planet Payment's DCC product and assists with the Company's business and corporate development on a global basis. After earning his law degree at Brooklyn Law School and prior to joining Planet, Joel worked within the General Counsel's Office of American Express.

Michael Shea - European General Counsel at EVO Payments

Michael Shea is EVO Payments European General Counsel and has worked in the payments/financial services industry for the past 20 years, with experience as both in house and external counsel. He has provided advices on the industry impacts of both Payment Services Directives in areas ranging from the characteristics of framework agreements to the scope of the complaints regime. He has been involved in the review of the DCC product for some time, with a focus on the acquiring side of the issue.
